UGANDA Christian University (UCU) is the team to beat as the race for the sh10m top prize in the utl Inter-University Games enters the semi-finals at Lugogo today.

UGANDA Christian University (UCU) is the team to beat as the race for the sh10m top prize in the utl Inter-University Games enters the semi-finals at Lugogo today.
UCU underlined their bid for the main award after taking a massive 54-point lead in group A of the championship that involves basketball, volleyball and soccer.
UCU women will take on last year’s overall champions Makerere in the basketball event.
The UCU men will then face Kampala International University (KIU) in the other game of the last four stage in the sh20m competition.
KIU and Makerere have also mounted a decent campaign and are strong candidates for the overall crown. Both teams dominate the semi-final line up.
The runners up will walk away with sh6m while the third-placed team is guaranteed sh4m. Seven universities entered the event that started in September.
