MIGEL has an expensive meal in a restaurant only to realise that his credit card has been cancelled. He gives the restaurant manager a fake watch and runs away. Will Diego and Latore finally corner him?
Paloma has decided that she will go to London until Mariano has found a suitable assistant. She has allowed to be married to Diego, who is now working on annulling his marriage to Berenice. Mariano, on hearing the latest happenings in the Sanchez-Zambrano family knows that the atmosphere is ripe for Diego and Paloma’s love to flourish.
He is completely disoriented and goes to Paloma’s house to pour out his heart. With tequila-induced-courage and tears streaming down his cheeks, he tells Paloma how he feels and says that he sometimes hates her. Diego comes in and joins the drama. He stops Mariano from leaving and tells him about his plans to marry Paloma, adding salt to Mariano’s wounds.
Paloma’s mother comes in and tells the two men to sort themselves out. She takes Paloma away and leaves the two men alone in the living room with a bottle of Tequila. Will these two rivals talk civilly or will they finally gauge out each other’s eyes?
