Uganda Amateur Handball Federation has called 20 players for the East and Central Africa Challenge Cup due Nov. 25-Dec. 2 in Nairobi. The event, sponsored by the world body - IHF, involves from Kenya, Ethiopia, Burundi, Rwanda and Tanzania. Training starts tomorrow at Kibuli. The squad: M. Akena, M. Wamala, M. Akena, P. Odola, F. Bwire, C. Onen, N. Kafero, M. Suleiman, Y. Kimogofu, E. Luyoka, E. Ntende, F. Ssemuju, M. Wamala, J. Oburu, G. Odong, M. Luvunia, P. Semuwemba, P. Sebuyonga, J.Tubanone, K. Ociti, I. Kongo & A. Isamat.

The loss put Production, hitherto bottom of the table with four points, in a favourable (third place after Bukedde and Editorial) to contest the final. Editorial must win their last game against Bukedde to reach the final due on November 10.

Molitor retains IBF bantam title
RAMA, Canada - Canadian Steve Molitor posted a 12-round unanimous decision over Thai Narongrit Pirang - better known as Fashan 3K Battery - Saturday to retain his International Boxing Federation super bantamweight title. Molitor won in convincing style, earning scores of 119-109 from two judges and 120-108 from the third. He made his second defence of the title he captured on November 10 with a victory over Michael Hunter.
