Most of your popular songs are obscene. Do you enjoy obscenities?
(Laughs) No. They are not and I don’t enjoy obscenities.

Someone may think you do what you preach.
But we go through this experience. It may be you or your friend; but it happens.

Wasn’t your song praising Kandahar obscene?
There is a message I want to pass to on the people; I don’t want children to understand it so I use such language. I know fans get the message.

So, who did you take to Kandahar?
Now, this is personal.

Did the Kandahar work as you say in the song?
Exactly - It did.

How did your fans respond to Kandahar?
Eeh! Most male fans expected much from me and they asked for my mobile phone number while others asked to take me out.

Have you put your guy in the bottle as Kinigeria suggests?
Definitely. But he was also willing and interested. We met at a conference and talked, one thing led to the other and when the chemistry worked we agreed to relate, but we have not formalised our marriage.

How do you fit a man in a bottle?
With mutual love and faithfulness, any man will put himself in the bottle.

Men say beautiful women are a problem; what do you say?
I also believe so. Beautiful women have a complex; they are confused and never satisfied. They always think that beauty is the only thing a man looks for in a woman and, in most cases, they use this to disorganise men, if not the whole society.

What about money?
I don’t look for money in a relationship because I know that a settled and loved man makes more money. I like a lovely and hardworking man. Money has never bought love. If money is involved that becomes prostitution.

Do you think love has lost meaning today?
To some extent, yes. Most people no longer have genuine love. The world has become deceptive, there is a lot of mistrust and love is being taken for commercial gains and competition; whoever has the money takes the best or the lion’s share.
