St Mary's Namagunga, be sensible!

I would like to point out that many of us attended this glorious institution with long hair and it did not stop us from performing well. If the school has decided that the girls should wear their hair short, that is perfectly alright, rules are rules.

However, to be obsessed with short hair to the point of having children pay another barber when they report to school is absurd! There is a lot more to academic success than wearing hair short.

The school’s mighty legacy is in itself, evidence of this. I have never heard anyone attribute their good performance to shaving their heads! School rules should be obeyed, but we need to be reasonable in the way we instill some of these rules. We are talking about young ladies after all!
