Thanks, Hotel Africana

I am a person with disability who has visited several big hotels in Kampala.

I am a person with disability who has visited several big hotels in Kampala.

Apart from the lift, these hotels have no special consideration for persons with disabilities.

I have often complained about this but I was pleasantly surprised when I finally visited Hotel Africana.

Thank you very much, Hotel Africana for remembering people with disabilities. My humble request is that the government should formulate special committees of engineers who should oversee the construction of all public buildings in the country to ensure they have provisions to cater for persons with disabilities.

It is amazing to find a building like Crane Chambers with more than six floors, including a bank having no lift!

People with disabilities are part and parcel of the Ugandan society and their interests as fellow human beings should be taken care of.
I wish to thank Hotel Africana once again.
