Why is UCU such an expensive university?
EDITOR—I wish to inform the chancellor of Uganda Christian University archbishop Henry Orombi that the university’s fees are too high. In fact, UCU might be the most expensive university in Uganda.

As if that is not bad enough, the deadlines for paying the fees are too tight. Our parents struggle to get money but most of them are low income earners. some of them earn less than sh200,000 and yet we are supposed to pay as much as sh1.2m.
Students taking information Technology may be more than 500 and yet there are very few computers in the lab. With regard to accommodation, i have never heard of any university that forces students to stay in university halls except UCU. I request the Archbishop to intervene and change the situation.
