Editor—I am not happy with the way business is conducted in the URA Customs Business centre (CBC) at Nakawa. there has been some improvement at CBC but that has now sadly changed.
Editor—I am not happy with the way business is conducted in the URA Customs Business centre (CBC) at Nakawa. there has been some improvement at CBC but that has now sadly changed.
It now takes anywhere from 10 to 15 days to clear goods through Kampala compared to the four or five days in the recent past.
There is a deep sense of frustration when one fails to clear his or her goods in time even after promptly paying taxes. Let top management in URA randomly pick and anonymously track shipments through CBC and the results will shock them! We demand and deserve better service.
