TWO Nigerians accused of attempting to fleece a Kampala-based doctor in a non-existent investment deal, have been arrested. Daniel Opala, 38, claiming to be a hawker and Wisdom Ezeji, 30, a “tourist”, were nabbed at Bible House on Bombo Road where they had gone to seal a deal with Dr. Boniface Malle, a Tanzanian.

“We are grateful to Malle’s friend, Joseph Ssempala, who warned him that he was about to be conned,” Kampala Extra Police spokesman, Simeo Nsubuga told the press.

The two casually-dressed men were paraded before the press at the Central Police Station in Kampala. They are also accused of conning people in deals of useless chemicals and powder among other items.

Police also impounded Opala’s passport, three mobile phones and a Honda CRV vehicle.
