EDITOR—Kalita bus transporters should save us from Ebola. Ugandans are scared following the outbreak of the deadly disease but it seems some of our bus companies value money more than people’s lives.
I travelled with a Kalita bus registration UAF 392 N from Kampala to Kasese on December 5. When we reached Fort Portal, over 20 passengers entered the bus at various points although the vehicle was already full to capacity! It became impossible to avoid body contact!
Warnings have been sounded by the Ministry of health. Kalita should be more responsible because the company operates in the affected region.
