ARE you one of the people who make long trips back to the village home every Christmas. Have you ever thought of a way to enhance your rural church? Worry no more, since singing and praising over the rebirth of Jesus Christ is the norm, buy a musical instrument for your church.
Instead of offering money to repair the church building that more often than not will not have changed next time you are back, the physical gift would be more appropriate.
However, identifying the appropriate instrument can be a hard task. One of the popular outlets to choose from is Glory Electronics at Shop 3 on Cham Towers, Kampala.
Paddy Lumanyo, the managing director, said their prices have been reduced to enable their clients enjoy a Christmas full of heavenly music.
“Most village churches have no more than a choir and a few traditionally made instruments. So, offering an electronic piano will be a dream come true for you and your church.â€
Under brand names like Yamaha, Roland and Korg, the pianos, popularly known as keyboards, will improve the worship. Each piano comes with a set of the famous knots strung together by popular pianists across the world.
The pianos cost between sh400,000 and sh6m. Another musical instrument that would be ideal is the guitar.
“The guitar is by far one of the easiest instruments to learn how to play. We sell them for sh200,000 to sh1m,†Lumanyo said.
