THE New Vision will tomorrow launch an exciting, interactive and functional section on motoring. The 8-page pullout will serve as a one-stop reference section for the motoring public. It is educative as well as entertaining.

Godfrey Mulengi, the Vision Group advertising manager, said Uganda’s motoring industry was among the fastest growing in the economy and it was vital to equip people with all the necessary information.

He said the pullout, which will run every Tuesday, covers the A-Z on motoring and is in line with the company’s vision of innovation and excellence.

He said the pullout was designed to include events in the global arena, car maintenance, celebrity cars, a section on mechanics, plus fundamental and technical motoring news presented in an easy style.

“We have invested in functional content of rich value. The pullout has a unique design and we are confident that this new product will provide the best bargains in advertising for sellers, buyers and service providers,” he said

Mulengi said the new section was a culmination of a long-term quest to help readers acquire knowledge on motoring through well researched editorial content.

He said The New Vision had pioneered cluster advertising in local media. He listed its other firsts as the Job Mart, Education, Tenders, Shopping, Food and Entertainment plus Homes and Property.

He added that a similar package would be launched in Bukedde newspaper on Thursday.

“I encourage advertisers to take full advantage of these innovations as they will stand to get incentives when they advertise with us,” he explained.
