KCC, how bad must a road be?

EDITOR—I don’t know how bad a road must be to attract KCC’s attention! The road off the Ntinda-Naalya road leading to Kamuli Lubawo and Kireka is a scandal! Why does KCC always remember to collect revenue but always forget to render service?

EDITOR—I don’t know how bad a road must be to attract KCC’s attention! The road off the Ntinda-Naalya road leading to Kamuli Lubawo and Kireka is a scandal! Why does KCC always remember to collect revenue but always forget to render service?

From the Jinja-Kampala highway in Kireka, Kira town council did a good job and tarmacked the road up to the Warid mast on the border of KCC and Wakiso on Kamuli Lubawo Road.

Some people who built their perimeter walls in the road reserve on the KCC side connived with KCC officials to save their walls.

The result was that Kira town council could not tarmac about three-quarters of the road which joins the Ntinda-Naalya Road. The state of the road is unbelievable!

Are the Nakawa gurus waiting for a dose of Ian Kyeyune’s treatment? The road was also surveyed and would have been tarmacked had KCC officials not been compromised by the fellows whose walls are in the road reserve. What is the way forward?

Does this really require the attention of President Museveni or Amelia Kyambadde? KCC, we want that road done or trouble is looming!
