CROWN Beverages, the makers of Pepsi products, has launched a new nationwide sales promotion.

Dubbed ‘Chamuka Keys with Mirinda,’ the promotion comes on the heels of a simalar promotion in 2008 that saw 12 lucky consumers drive away with Toyota Rav4s, while thousands others won cash and instant prizes.

The promo has been touted as being “a bigger, better and even more thrilling.” “This time round, there are 20 vehicles to be won, including millions of shillings and various other prizes,” said Aggie Asiimwe, the head of marketing.

The promotion with a tag line ‘,’ will require consumers to buy Mirinda, Pepsi, 7-Up and Mountain Dew. They will then look under the crown and what they see is what they win.

“Winning the car, however, has an exciting twist to it, in which consumers that find a symbol of the key and a car under the crown will have to go to exchange the crown for a real key and try it in the assembled Rav4 vehicles at a Chamuka Keys Event near them.

“Any consumer that opens Rav4 door and successfully ignites the car, automatically wins it instantly,” Asiimwe explained.

The events will be held weekly in key town centres across the country.
