Waragi deaths shameful - priest
- WAKISO
Deaths arising from the consumption of cheap waragi are a shame to the victims and the country, Mgr. Wynand Katende, the parish priest of Lubaga Cathedral has said. Katende said such acts were an indication of the moral decay in the country and the perilous partying syndrome. The priest made the remarks at the requiem mass of his retired printer, David Byangwa. Byangwa, who died of a blood clot at Mulago Hospital, was once the production manager of The New Vision Printing and Publishing Company. He was also remembered for his service to the Catholic Church and the Government.
