4th season of Big Brother Africa starts

M-Net’s Big Brother Africa IV was launched last night, with Uganda's representative Hannington Kuteesa, entering the house at 8:45pm.

M-Net’s Big Brother Africa IV was launched last night, with Uganda's representative Hannington Kuteesa, entering the house at 8:45pm.

Kuteesa is the son of justice Steven Kavuma. His mother is Ruth Kavuma, the Kalangala Woman MP.

The reality TV series started with the welcome of the 14 housemates as they entered the house to begin their 91-day adventure.

The prize money for the show dubbed 'The Revolution', has now doubled and is no USD 200 000 and a redesigned house with increased cameras.

The number of participating countries has also been increased from 12 to 14. The countries this 2009 are: Angola, Botswana, Ethiopia, Ghana, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria, Kenya, South Africa, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

Ethiopia and Mozambique are the new countries added to the list.
