Inter-religious clergy hold peace dialogue

THE Archbishop of Kampala Archdiocese, Dr. Cyprian Kizito Lwanga, has convened a three-day conference on peace. The conference aims at finding solutions to many issues affecting the country.

THE Archbishop of Kampala Archdiocese, Dr. Cyprian Kizito Lwanga, has convened a three-day conference on peace. The conference aims at finding solutions to many issues affecting the country.

Over 3,000 delegates under the Inter Religious Council of Uganda will attend the conference that opens today. While addressing the media at the Inter Religious Council of Uganda, Lwanga said they expect the conference to agree on the establishment of a forum at the national level for interactions among stakeholders on peace and reconciliation and development issues.

Lwanga said the delegates who are expected to attend include religious leaders, cultural leaders from all parts of the country, key political leaders, government officials, MPs, academia and special interest groups.
