EDITOR—I was amused to learn that Prof Livingstone Luboobi is still in the race for Makerere University vice-chancellorship! Is there no age limit for the post? Besides, I was fooled to think that he was relieved to get Makerere off his chest.

Surely, didn’t he have enough? Trust Ugandans, like a true patriot, he still wants to sacrifice! I think this kisanja mentality is infectious in Africa.
