ON October 6, WBS Television broadcast a news item in the 7:00pm and 9:00pm news bulletins that one Moses Mapesa had cut off the genitals of another man recently in Iganga. The latter had posed as a woman and got financial favours from Mapesa.

This is to clarify that the Moses Mapesa referred to in the story is not the Executive Director of the Uganda Wildlife Authority and has no relation with him whatsoever.
