The Uganda Peoples Defence Forces (UPDF) netball team displayed an incredible performance in the national league yesterday, walloping Posta 47-16 and Prisons 49-45 at Nakivubo. “It is just the beginning and there is still more to come,” UPDF coach Sally Omona said after his team recorded the double header victory.

Nile awards
- A bar owner and a consumer have each won a pool table in the just concluded regional Nile Special competition code-named Sink the Black pool tournament. Nile Breweries sales manager Richard Karanzi handed over the prizes to John Simiyu of Simico Bar and Restaurant of Mbale town and Joseph Wanetosi a beer consumer of Nambola Bar in Buwabwala sub-county in Manafwa district.
