FOR long, we have been used to the sound output of Hi-fi systems, but with the new Sony MHC-GZR88D Mini Hi-Fi system, one gets more than sound. One is able to play their video CD and DVDs and watch the video output at the same time without connecting the Hi-Fi to an external TV screen, thanks to its inbuilt 7” LCD screen.

The only one of its kind on the Ugandan market, this system has an output power of 5400W and a total RMS of 490W. Among other numerous functions is the USB MP4 playback/recording.

By inserting a flash disk with compatible music files, playback will quickly start. Pictures in JPEG format can be viewed on the screen. The system also plays digital FM/AM tuner in top quality with remote control commands.

The Hi-fi also comes with double cassette tape decks, accompanied with a special three-disc changer. The system costs sh1.75m in electronic shops in Kampala.
