MOUNTAIN Dew Falcons will take on Kyambogo Warriors in the basketball best of five semi final play-offs at YMCA courts in Wandegeya.

Falcons that fell to Warriors 67-70 and 73-74 in each of the two rounds of the regular season, are all out for revenge.

Boasting of former MVPs Sam Obol, Eric Malinga and Henry Malinga, together with Peter Elungat and Isaac Lugudde, Falcons are keen to turn tables.

“We respect them, but we shall put the past results aside and focus on the tough task ahead of us,” Falcons captain Henry Malinga said after a training session yesterday.

But Warriors’ Gad Etau, fresh from a coaching course in the United States, said his players will live up to the task.

“There is a lot to be done yet we don’t have time, but we shall fight our way to victory,” Etau said.

Warriors also have a number of experienced players including Ronnie Kasewu, Steve Okias, Jude Ochien and professional Abdullah Ramadan for the task.
