Ingredients Self-raising flour 500gm Yoghurt 2 tablespoons Luke-warm water 65ml Salt 1teaspoon One egg 1Sugar teaspoon Methi and garlic for topping
Preparation Pour flour in a mixing bowl; add egg, yoghurt, salt, sugar and luke-warm water, a little at a time, working it with your fingers into soft, slightly sticky dough.
Cover with a damp towel and let it stand for 1 hour in a warm spot for the dough to ferment.
Divide the dough into four pieces and roll each into a ball.
Roll each ball out on a floured surface into an oval 20-23cm and 0.8cm thick.
Put methi (Fenugreek) and garlic on top of the flattened dough as topping.
Pre-heat griller on high. Grill until they puff up and are speckled with brown spots.
Turn over and cook the other side. Keep watching the Naan because it cooks very quickly.
