THIS weekend, all roads will lead to Fort Portal Gardens Restaurant for the Mountains of the Moon University beauty pageant contest. The beauty contest has been organised under the theme “A Community University coming out on the Beauty of the African Woman.â€
The beauty queen will be selected by the organisers of the event. The audience will also take part in deciding the eventual winner.
According to the Guild President, Edward Balinda, eight ladies, all students of the university, will take part in the competition.
The beauty pageant is sponsored by Mpanga Tea Factory, Link Bus Services and Rwenzori Hardware among others.
