COACH George Nsimbe has snubbed Masaka LC to join another super league side Victors FC. The former KCC FC tactician, who quit the club at the beginning of the season, has signed a two-year contract at Victors.

Kenyan Hussein Shedu, who had been tipped for the job, abandoned Victors two weeks ago after he disagreed with club owner Col Jackson ‘Bell’ Tushabe over remunerations.

Masaka, who sacked Lutalo Bbosa last week, had also approached Nsimbe to take over as head coach but he said yesterday that he was comfortable at Victors.

“I weighed my options and decided on Victors,” Nsimbe said. He will be introduced to the players today.
Nsimbe fell out with KCC after a coaching course in Europe. The club recruited Sam Ssimbwa and wanted Nsimbe as his deputy.
