EDITOR—If you are driving at night and have some eggs thrown at your car’s wind screen, do not operate your wiper or spray any water. Egg mixed with water becomes milky and will effectively block your vision and you will be forced to stop on the roads

This will make you easy prey to the robbers who have thrown the eggs. No matter what you do, don’t stop.
Try to see through the side window of the car and drive on to a safe distance before pulling off the road to wash the windscreen. This is a new trick by robbers and a number of such robberies has been reported to Police this season.
Another trick is that sometimes the robbers knock your car from behind and once you get out to check what has happened, you are put at gun-point and robbed!
