Atubo’s analysis
- Lands minister Omara Atubo knows why people walk the way they do. He stunned Parliament when he said that Nandala Mafabi whom he referred to as ‘the leader of circumcision’ has a bad gait because he was circumcised wrongly. Mafabi had accused Atubo of crossing to the ruling NRM because he wanted a district. This sent MPs into laughter and Speaker Rebecca Kadaga ruled the two out of order for bickering in Parliament.

Shame on Ekanya
- MPs ought to be very cautious of their manners, especially when in the House. But it seems Tororo county MP Geoffrey Ekanya has forgotten this rule. Recently, he was ruled out of order by the Speaker of Parliament, Edward Ssekandi, for grabbing papers from the parliamentary table without permission. Other MPs shouted him down for his behaviour. Ekanya wanted to rubbish a statement tabled by justice minister Khiddu Makubuya. Ekanya, where are your manners?

Temangalo ghosts
- It seems security minister Amama Mbabazi has got a kyeyo of being either a lecturer or a teacher. He was heard telling the vocal Odonga Otto that he had not sat his exams. “I heard that you are a lawyer but maybe you have not sat your exams. I am used to exchanging with intelligent people,” Mbabazi said. Not taking this lightly, Otto rose up and retorted: “Is Honourable Mbabazi in order to challenge my academic credentials yet he was accused of embezzling Temangalo funds?” All MPs started murmuring until the Speaker intervened ruling both MPs out of order.

Serious MP
Chris Baryomunsi, the legislator from Kanungu, does not like idle talk. While Parliament was waiting for quorum to vote on the creation of new districts, Baryomunsi rose up and appealed to the Deputy Speaker, Rebecca Kadaga to consider another item on the order paper.
