TWO people died and three were seriously injured in two separate accidents that occurred in Kiruhura and Mbarara districts. A student of Makerere University, Nelson Musonga, died instantly while Molly Kembabazi and Rodgers Baguma were seriously injured when the vehicle they were travelling in overturned on Wednesday.
The south-western regional traffic officer, Robert Mugudde, said Musonga was traveling from Kampala to Mbarara and the car overturned at Rushororo in Kiruhura district when its unidentified driver lost control due to over speeding.
In another incident, Tereza Kamurasi, a resident of Kakiika in Mbarara, died when a motorcycle rammed into a swift safaris bus at the Mbarara round-about. The boda boda rider, only identified as Robert from Rwoho in Ntungamo, broke his legs and was rushed to Mbarara Hospital.
