Understated coolness

THE festive season is over and its effects are beginning to be evident on the weighing scale. We all want to start the New Year with a bang, on a high note, looking our best at all those parties and inevitable get-togethers.

Well, while we shed the unwanted kilos, here are a few homemade looks that disguise what we want to hide and make the most of what we have.

A new look for the new you in the New Year!

The outfit:
A cool and collected elegant look to sail you through those impromptu New Year festivities. The blouse is free without being sloppy and the narrow leg trousers create the impression of a slim and svelte figure.

Tip:
The trapeze cut of this blouse whispers comfortable elegance and its V neck cut will flatter any woman by creating the impression of a long and graceful neck.

Fabric requirements:
Fabrics that are ideal for the blouse are chiffon, georgette, silk, satin, jersey and any other fluid fabrics.

2-2 ½ metres of double width fabric is needed for the blouse if it is not cut on the bias grain.

2-2½metres of a solid double width fabric is needed for the trouser (The taller and fuller the figure, the more the fabric required)
