THE Ksh350m (sh8.7b) Tusker Project Fame (TPF) in which the winner will walk away with Ksh5,000,000 (sh125m), a recording contract from Gallo Records and other goodies, is back.

The second edition of the show will premier this month. East African Breweries Limited (EABL) promised TPF to be an explosive search for top music talent in East Africa.

The six-month contest will commence with auditions in Uganda, Tanzania and Kenya. Successful contestants will join the TPF Academy.

Just like TPF 1, fans in the three East African countries will be treated to immense music talent. Patricia Ithau, the EABL marketing director, says to participate, one has to be 21 years old and above.

“They must also be able to sing and play an instrument, sing and compose or sing and perform,” she adds.
Viewers of TPF will get a chance to save their favourite contestants in elimination shows later on.

There will be judges to help in the elimination process, while teachers and instructors will be on hand to instruct finalists on various aspects of their music career. TPF will air on WBS Television.
