Aliwa good for second in Italian 10km cross-country

MOSES Aliwa started his build up to the World Cross Country in Edinburgh, Scotland, by finishing second in the Italian cross country Sunday.
In a field of over 100 athletes, Aliwa (left) kept with the winning pack until the last lap of the 10km race, when Andrea broke off to win.
In Hong Kong, it was not that all rosy as Alex Malinga’s performance in the last leg of the Standard Chartered Bank Greatest Race on Earth marathon saw Uganda forfeit her third position to Zimbabwe.
