My honest belief is that if the rampant theft of public funds (do not call it corruption), hegemony and patronage are not eradicated, then we are set to see more strikes, demonstrations and riots.
It is disheartening that public universities are frequently hit by financial constraints and strikes, government-aided primary schools have gone to the dogs and jobs are awarded without much regard to grades.
