CAPTAIN Jamie Dalrymple chart topping 84 runs not out gave Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) their second successive win over Kenya U-19 in their second and final ODI at Kyambogo Oval yesterday.

The tourists made light work of the Kenyans to win by 149 runs in their first match on Tuesday before starting off where they left yesterday.

The Kenyans had set an improved, if still meagre, target of 197 all out and would need some special bowling to have any hopes.

But when MCC opening pair of Kert Newell and Ben Scott were both dismissed for naught, the unthinkable beaconed.

But number three Dalrymple had other ideas and set about reclaiming the balance of the game for his team withstanding the loss of his third wicket partner Steve Salisburg for a single run in the process.

David Adams added 39 and Bilal Shafayat 31 to secure a comfortable victory in the tourists’ final match before returning to England on Saturday.
Adams was also the tourists top wicket taker with three.

Dominic Wesonga was the Kenyan side’s top scorer with an unbeaten 26.
The tourists have been in Uganda since three weeks ago and played against select national sides.

They lost to the national team in the one-day game but forced a draw in the two-day match on Sunday.
