Then, I ran short of words. After a long silence, she asked me my second name. I refused to tell her and she wasn’t amused. She said she was going to Ange Noir and asked me to join her. I told her I couldn’t because I was working that night.
Another thing that seemed to annoy her was when I ordered for pork. I had started eating when she told me she was a Muslim. I asked her if I should change my dish and she said it was too late. That I could eat as long as she wasn’t the one eating.

Her looks weren’t bad but I particularly liked her skin complexion.

I thought she wasn’t fluent in English and yet there are certain things you can’t say in Luganda. On top of that she is certainly older than me and that made me shy. I felt like I was talking to my elder sister.

In a relationship, when the man is older, he is respected. It is just like a woman having more money than her husband, she will always overlook him.
