Good Friday and Easter Sunday, which day is more important?
Easter Sunday is more important because Jesus Christ proved that He was the Son of God. If He had not resurrected, many people would say that He was a kiwani and they would not believe in Him.
YESTERDAY was Good Friday and tomorrow is Easter Sunday. Rehema Aanyu asked some children which day is more important and why. Here are their responses
Easter Sunday is more important because Jesus Christ proved that He was the Son of God. If He had not resurrected, many people would say that He was a kiwani and they would not believe in Him.
Patricia Ahereza, P.7, St. Peter’s Primary School, Nsambya
Good Friday is more important because it made me see that God loves human beings. When Jesus was dying on the cross, He asked his father God to save him because He was in pain. But God did not because He wanted Jesus to die to save us.
Aron Rukundo, St. Peter’s Primary School
Good Friday is more important because when Jesus was on the cross, He asked His father to forgive us because we do not know what we are doing. This means that every time we sin, God forgives us.
Glorious Musimenta, P.6, St. Joseph’s Primary School
Easter Sunday is very important because Jesus conquered death. This means that He is the way through which people will live forever.
Joshua Japuini, 12, Railway Children Primary School
Easter Sunday is very important because Jesus resurrected. This means that whoever dies will also resurrect and go to heaven like Jesus Christ.
Elizabeth Moke, St. Joseph’s Primary School
Good Friday is more important because Jesus Christ showed us that all human beings will die. Because Jesus tasted death, I know everyone will die, so I do not fear death.
Emmanuel Pituwa, Railway Children P. S
Good Friday is more important because it shows that Jesus is not a liar. He said that He was going to die and He did. Jesus also said He would keep for us places in heaven, so I know I have a place in heaven.
Catherine Asinde, 10, St. Joseph’s Primary School
Good Friday is more important because if Jesus Christ had not been crucified on the cross, we would not pray to Him because there would be no crucifix to pray with.
Catherine Aciro, P.6, St. Joseph’s Primary School
