Saul tells Esther about Juan Francisco’s infidelity. She calls Juan Francisco who tells her that Fanny is in hospital. Floecita overhears Saul and Esther discussing her parents and she goes into traumatic shock, she has stopped talking. Suraya is desperate to see her daughter. Alex and Esther kiss and he breaks up with Angie.
Marina is convinced that Suraya is Maki when she learns that the Padre in Lima has the same name as the one back home and Suraya has been donating some things to his church. Ricardo finds out that Saul was not responsible for Maki’s downfall. He pays Maki’s lawyer to stick to the story that Juan Francisco was responsible.

Coralia and Andrea go to Miami to surprise Maria Clara. They are shocked to see Carlos Raul kissing Barbara in the hotel pool. Andrea convinces Coralia not to tell Maria Clara until they have more proof. Maria Clara discovers that she is pregnant. She is also making Barbara’s wedding gown.

Diego is furious when he listens to a news broadcast announcing that he is in prison. He decides to retract his earlier confession. He implicates Raphael Perez and Fabian. Bernando appears in court and offers to testify; citing his involvement in the fictitious exportations so Diego and Quiroz can be freed. Paloma is elected as the Mexican delegate to the international coffee board. In a heated confrontation, Angela tells Barbara that she is not good enough for Fabian. Barbara in turn asks her to leave her house.
Ines leaves hospital and asks Fabian to leave the company when she overhears him yelling at Juan Francisco. He begs her to let him stay but she is adamant. He refuses and calls security to throw her out of the building. Ines leaves but she’s got something up her sleeve. Marcia promises to sell the floppies to Fabian.
