COACH Jimmy Muguwa is banking on his youthful side’s explosive speed to crack an ageing AS Vita Club today.

“There is going to be a lot of running and at the end of the day, it should be the Red Eagles standing,” vowed Muguwa ahead of the Confederations Cup second round, return leg match.

Muguwa’s confidence is understandable following a morale boosting away draw in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

The coach said that he has, since the Kinshasa encounter, perfected a fast, penetrative game plan necessary to beat the slow, but vastly skilled visitors.“They are well built and very good at passing. But we shall tire them out with our pace,” promised Muguwa.

His 4-4-2 approach will be spearheaded upfront by experienced Badru Kiyega and Hassan Ndugwa.

Muguwa has thought it wise to start new revelation Ivan Bwire from the bench. The swift striker will be a priceless asset as a substitute if indeed the visitors run out of steam. Express back-line will be led by on form goalkeeper Abbey Dhaira.

Dhaira was outstanding
in Kinshasa’s 0-0 draw just as he was in the previous round with three penalty saves against Inter of Burundi.

Meanwhile, everyone except pressmen will pay to watch the game.
