MEDITERRANEAN Cuisine (food native to France, Italy, Greece, Turkey and other countries alongside the Mediterranean Sea) is one of the most desirable things that the world has ever known.

Not only is it deliciosio (as the Italians say), it indeed tastes exceptional compared to food from other regions of the world. The dishes include cheese, olive oil, tomatoes, fish, green pepper, spinach and sausages.

Little wonder every city in the world has a restaurant(s) where diners flock to taste the delights from that side of the world. Mediterranean cuisine is also recommended for dieters.

So, what better way to spend a weekend than visiting a Mediterranean restaurant like the one near Kisozi Complex in Nakasero.

The restaurant serves mostly Italian dishes in an atmosphere that would mislead a diner into believing that he is chilling out on the other side of the world.

Diners can feast on a wide range of Italian pasta dishes including the world-famous Lasagne Alla Bolognese (noodles served with meat sauce), Pappardelle al funghi porcini (pasta served with a sauce of porcini mushrooms and rosemary)and the refrigerated Ravioli Ricotta E spinaci (pasta filled with ricotta cheese and spinach with tomato).

Add to these a whole range of other Italian delights made out of salami, parma ham, olives, sea fishes, green pepper, name it. The restaurant also serves Italian soups and creams.

The dishes here can be ordered with red wine. A meal at Mediterranean Restaurant will cost between sh9,000 and sh16,000.

Diners can enjoy their meals in the long arched terrace lined with stone pillars and adjacent to the gardens. A truly exotic atmosphere!
Patrons can also sit in the spacious interior.

The restaurant is open everyday, between midday and 11.00pm.
