KCB Pearl of Africa Uganda rally competitors will go route reccing this weekend and have been restricted to two passages per sections.
The rally is scheduled for April 25- 27.
Clerk of course Kisitu Mayanja warned that organisers will monitor the route reccing to ensure that no competitor surveys each competitive section more than twice.
Previously, competitors were free to do route reccing as much as they could, as long as it was within the authorised two-day period.
“Limiting recce is done so that local drivers do not gain unfair advantage over the foreigners. We are really going to police them this weekend,†Mayanja said.
