A body suspected to be that of Barbara Natugonza of Fort Portal was the only one still at Mulago Hospital awaiting the DNA test results. The agonising five-day wait for the bodies, the Poice said, was intended to ensure the families received the right remains since the bodies were burnt beyond recognition.
Twenty girls aged 8-10 years burnt to death as they slept in Nassolo dormitory. The school has been closed. Ten employees under Police detention are being investigated for possible criminal negligence and arson.
