WHILE gadgets like TVs and computers make life easy, they have negative side-effects like poor visual clarity or bad posture. “Visual stress often arises from looking at your computer screen, reading or driving for long hours. It is caused by a build up of stress and tension in the nerves around the eye.

Combining hi-tech micro-computer technology with therapeutics, the Merlin eye massager generates multi-frequency vibrations by a hi-tech chip. It dredges important pressure points, activates brain and eye cells and also accelerates blood micro circulation,” says M. Prakash of Kings Gadgets and Car accessories at Garden City.

The eye massager also increases oxygen supply to the eye and brain, relaxing the optic nerves that relieve eye strain. Regular use of the massager leads to improved eyesight and an overall feeling of alertness. It is also ideal for long-term computer users and video game lovers.

The eye massager also helps delay age-related vision loss.
Prakash says the vibrating foam pads work on the pressure points at the temples, across the cheekbones and the bridge of the nose to improve blood circulation, release tension and aid stress management in the case of headaches.

Going for sh150,000, the eye massager is worn over the eyes.
“The Merlin eye massager also improves the skin tone by regulating the muscle fibres which support the skin. It also removes toxins from the cells that cause dark circles around the eyes.

After use, one's eyes look brighter and feel less strained, without the need for expensive creams and lotions,” Prakash concludes.
