OVER sh500,000 is still up for grabs in the ongoing Vision Voice radio promotion dubbed Vision Factor.

Kevin Masaba, the promotions coordinator, yesterday said over 30 motorists had so far won sh1.45m.

Lyz Gakumba, an employee of KLM Airline, was one of the winners.

“It was good to get some free money. I had just walked out of our offices when I got the money,” she said.

Gakumba loves the talk-shows and the music selection of 94.8FM, Vision Voice radio.

Ali Matovu, a bodaboda cyclist based in Bweyogerere and Juma Masaba, a taxi driver in Mukono town, also won cash.

Other winners were drivers of official vehicles belonging to the Chinese Embassy and the Ministry of Education.

To qualify for a cash prize, listeners have to fix a Vision Voice sticker on their motorcycles, bicycles, vehicles or front doors.

When a member of the “sticker squad” identifies a vehicle, motorcycle or bicycle with the sticker, the registration number of the automobile will be announced on radio and the owner receives sh50,000. Today, 20,000 stickers will be inserted in The New Vision, said Bill Tibingana, the programmes director.
