Ezra, donate all you have to the poor!

EDITOR—Having visited Michael Ezra’s website (www.michaelezra.name), I would like to offer some unsolicited advice to him. He clearly needs some earthly advice, in good faith. It is clear from his self-promotion that Ezra wants to be idolised, loved or at least admired.

And he thinks money can buy him that. The trouble with courting the plebs in this way, as any politician will tell you, is that they are fickle.
Today they love you (for whatever reason), tomorrow they hate you with a passion. Chasing after the affection of the plebs in order to make yourself happy is like chasing the wind.

Recent scientific studies have confirmed what all christians have known for a while—happiness is best found by selflessly doing good to or for others.
In other words, happiness comes from within.

And that chasing pleasures and adulation leads only to more emptiness.

Ezra, if you wants to be truly great and truly happy to the end of your days, here are some suggestions:

-Take that $30m you had earmarked for Namboole, and give it away—anonymously—to some good cause like healthcare, education or refugees.
lSell those expensive toys (timepieces, cars, aeroplane, etc.) and come help make a difference in Uganda!

I am assuming of course that the stories you tell of yourself are true. If not, then I am sorry for wasting your time!
