Thank you children for making beautiful Mothers’ Day cards for your mums and for sending in lovely poems. I am sure your mums are smiling from ear to ear. Do not forget to wish your mums a happy Mothers’ Day tomorrow. Be extra good and make their day very special and memorable.
Many of you designed wonderful card but because of space, we could only publish a few in Children’s Vision.
Out of the cards we have published so far, three have been selected as the overall winners. They were designed by Hammad Kazani of Aga Khan Primary School, Davie Nakaziba of Mildcare in Munyonyo and Divya Petchiappan also of Aga Khan Primary School.
The three winners, together with their mums, are invited to dinner tomorrow (Sunday May 11) night at Emerald Hotel on Bombo Road.
The rest of you children who wrote amazing poems for your mums should listen to Auntie Pauline’s Show on Vision Voice Radio tomorrow. She will read out more lovely poems and announce more winners. Listen in and keep your fingers crossed. You might be a winner.
The show is on air every Sunday from 12:00 noon to 2:00pm. Vision Voice is on 94.8 FM.
