EDITORâ€”I request MTN, Celtel, utl and the new entrant Warid Telecom to devise means to enable customers retain their contacts once they have lost their simcards and want a replacement.
Since a replaced simcard has the credit (airtime) one had by the time one lost it, I think the same technology can be used to enable one retain their lost contacts.
One can argue that it is an individualâ€™s responsibility to backup their contacts.
However, if it is really â€œAll about youâ€, â€œWe careâ€ and â€œmaking life betterâ€, the companies concerned should bail out their valued customers.
