A MUKONO-based barman has won sh1m in The New Vision’s Cashlines game.

Ronald Kirya yesterday became the third person to win the biggest cash prize in the month-long game.

He received the money yesterday from the field sales manager, Gershom Agaba, at The New Vision head office in Kampala.

“I did not expect to win one of the biggest prizes,” Kirya, an employee of Crane Paradise Hotel in Mukono, said.
Kirya, a father of three, added that he would use the money to pay school fees for his children.

Andrew Kateu, an employee of Uganda Breweries, and Isaac Masola, a plant clerk of Stirling, a construction company, last week won sh1m each in the game.

A total 36 readers across the country have won cash prizes amounting to sh9.4m, leaving sh10.6m up for grabs.

The sales and promotions coordinator, Rhona Kanabahita, said all winning numbers, which were published since the game started, will be in the Sunday Vision.

To play, one has to get a card, proceed to page two of The New Vision where a list of numbers will be published.
A reader circles the numbers on a horizontal line that correspond with those on the advertisement on page two.

One becomes a winner when all the numbers on a horizontal Cashline are circled. The tokens on the advertisements should be placed at the back of the game card.

Cards with 28 coupons will be eligible for the grand draw on June 10.
