RUTH Kalibbala Bwanika, an actress with the Afritalents also works as a news anchor on Super FM. Kalibbala strikes many people as one of the best women in showbiz. But any woman can look like her.

In the picture, Kalibbala dons black pinstripe pants, which she bought at sh70,000 from the Ex-Options Boutique on Sunset Arcade, Wilson Road; a flowered blouse, which she bought at sh70,000 from Sylvie’s Boutique, Garden City and white strappy shoes, which cost her sh50,000 from Ex-Options Boutique. Kalibbala’s accessories are made of pearls.

She says her earrings and necklace are hand-made. She bought them from a needy craftsperson at Rubaga Miracle Centre Cathedral. The necklace and bracelet cost sh45,000, while the earrings cost sh15,000.

Kalibbala bought the silver watch at sh200,000 from Sylvie’s Boutique. Altogether, Kalibbala’s look is worth sh450,000.

Although, this looks like a decent price, there are several dealers with similar items and depending on where you shop, the price can be either higher or lower.

Ladies’ tops similar to Kalibbala’s cost up to sh200,000 at the Rainbow Arcade on Kampala Road. Next door, at the Ladies’ Zone, sandals like Kalibbala’s cost sh125,000 a pair.

Pearl jewellery costs between sh70,000 and sh120,000 from Pioneer Mall.
However, anyone wishing to achieve Kalibbala’s look at a lower price should head to Mukwano Shopping Arcade opposite the Old Taxi Park.

Here you will buy ladies’ tops at about sh9,000. Black pants cost sh12,000 while strappy shoes go for sh13,000 per pair. Nice ladies’ watches will go for at least sh30,000 at Kyakuwa General Enterprises.

These cheaper watches are made of steel, not silver like Kalibbala’s.

However, the cheaper items are often mass produced from Taiwan and are less durable.
