The passa passa dance fest, which was held at Buganda Pub in Gulu last Saturday, unveiled good dancers. Some of them did the break dance and spun on their heads.

They performed in two groups; one for the boys and the other for girls. Revellers cheered the dancers until the wee hours of the morning.

The boys’ group won the competition and got a 200 megawatt boom box (a high tech music system used in group dance rehearsals). One of the girls who did gyrating and slithering moves was given a Pilsner Lager T-shirt and cap.

Passa passa is a dance competition which encourages people with a passion for dancehall music to show off their talent. The winners get a boom box to help them practise for the grand finale.
