THE International Law Institute of Uganda has been accredited to host the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Admini-strators (ICSA) courses.

The ceremony at which ILI-Uganda received a plaque from ICSA chief executive Roger Dickinson, to recognise their international stature took place recently in Kololo.

“ILI-Uganda is the first to officially register to train Chartered Secretaries and Administrators in Uganda,” Dickinson said.

ICSA offers professional qualification covering business, company law and corporate governance. It also teaches management, finance and accounting, administration and company secretarial services.

With over 100 years of experience, the UK-based ICSA is a recognised global voice for good governance and regulatory issues in private, public and not-for-profit sectors.

ILI-Uganda has been offering post-professional education and research skills for lawyers, finance officials and others professions.
