Former New Vision CEO, William Pike, has not been resting on his laurels since his exit from Uganda’s biggest media conglomerate.

He launched a paper, Nairobi Star, in Kenya, which we hear is flourishing, in addition to his and his business partner Patrick Quarcoo’s Kamwokya-based Capital FM and Beat FM, and the very successful Kiss FM in Nairobi.

Now our snoops say come November, some structures behind the orange building that houses Capital FM will be replaced by a six-storey building, which will reportedly house four radio stations including Touch FM, their latest acquisition and another unnamed station.

There will also be a TV station and a local newspaper, which Pike has reportedly bought off. And that’s not all. It is rumoured Pike and partner plan to establish five radio stations in Nairobi soon.
